Cosmogramme sculptures at Hawkwood
The Hawkwood cosmogrammes are twelve carved stone pillars situated at earth energy centres within the Hawkwood estate.
Relating to different qualities and relationships between the Earth, humanity and the cosmos, these centres were uncovered by Marko Pogacnik through attunement with subtle energies of the Earth. The stones and the carved cosmogrammes resonate with the consciousness and vital energies of Hawkwood through lithopuncture - a method of Earth accupuncture. This initiates a creative impulse to energise and transform.
The Hawkwood Cosmogrammes were created in cooperation with twelve participants during a workshop in summer 2008. The line drawings were carved into local limestone with the intention that the surface would reflect light to give a message for other realms, benefit the land and contribute to the centre’s evolution.

Visitors and students to Hawkwood can follow a trail around the landscape to the various sites; a pause for meditative reflection at the different locations can give insight into the inner qualities represented by the individual cosmogramme forms as well as inspirations from how they interact with the landscape and cosmos.
A separate brochure is available describing the individual cosmogramme sculptures, with a map to assist you in finding their locations. Some of them take a bit of seeking as they are not all along the beaten tracks!Contact Hawkwood for a brochure, or stop by and have a walk as well - you will find it invigorating and rewarding.
