At Hawkwood, societal wholeness means ensuring the participation and meaningful representation of everyone across all our activities, including ethnicity, class, gender, sexual orientation, ability, and more.
We proactively promote this through our creative artist residency programme and are broadening the diversity of our course leaders. Innovative thinking is core to Hawkwood and drives everything we do and curate. We aim to diversify our team at all levels, including our Board.
Recognising that this is an ongoing journey, we are actively consulting beyond our usual networks and compiling an Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) plan for all aspects of our arts and education charity. This includes research and data collection to create a comprehensive framework with inclusion at its heart.
We will regularly update this page with our progress. If you would like to support us or help us on this path, we’d love to hear your thoughts.
