How do I make a booking?
You can book a course online by clicking ‘book now’ under each course. Alternatively, you can call 01453 759034 or email info@hawkwoodcollege.co.uk
Early booking is recommended for all our courses and please note that your booking cannot be confirmed without payment.
Fee Payment
We accept all major credit cards, as well as bank transfers and PayPal. Additionally, guests now have the option to spread course over 4 interest-free payments via Clearpay. All payment options are available online through our secure and user-friendly checkout system.
For those who prefer, we still offer the option to pay a non-refundable deposit. As the deposit amount varies depending on the course, please contact us directly for details.
Once the deposit is paid, the remaining balance will be due four to eight weeks prior to the start of the course, depending upon the course being booked.
How can I spread out my course payments?
For courses between £100 - £1,200, we are pleased to offer Clearpay, which allows guests to spread the cost of our courses over 4 interest-free payments.
As noted above, we also offer the option of booking with a deposit. Please contact us directly to enquire.
What if my course is cancelled or I wish to cancel my course?
Hawkwood reserves the right to cancel a course, but if this happens we will give you as much notice as possible. In the event of a cancelled course, full fees including deposits will be refunded.
If you have to cancel a course for any reason, Hawkwood reserves the right to retain your deposit, and in some cases the full amount. You can read our terms and conditions for booking courses here.
When do I arrive?
For courses of two or more days, the arrival time is between 4– 6PM on the first day of the course, with supper at 6.30PM (unless otherwise stated) and finishes with afternoon tea at 4PM on the last day of the course.
For one-day courses, the arrival time is 9– 9.30AM, finishing between 4-5PM.
For summer school courses please check the course times with reception.
Please refer to the course page for the specific arrival & departure times of each course. They can be found under the “Practical Information” section towards the bottom of each course page.
Is this course suitable for me?
If you need any particular level of experience prior to starting your course, this will be clearly outlined on the individual course page.
Whilst our facilitators are here to support participants during their course, they are not trained therapists. We are not a therapy centre, and the programmes are not designed for those needing therapeutic support. We ask that participants are able to take care of their own wellbeing and experience.
I have specific dietary requirements…
Hawkwood has a reputation for delicious meals; organically grown vegetables and local meats are used where possible, and all food served is GMO-free.
We will do our best to cater for special dietary requirements but these, along with any food allergies, must be noted at the time of booking as part of the booking process online. We will be unable to accommodate changes to diet when you arrive as our meals are planned with great care in advance. If you are booking by phone, please ensure you let us know of any requirements.
Where can I get more information?
Should you have any questions about the courses or Hawkwood as a venue please call the office on 01453 759034.
Financial Assistance
We are proud to offer a Financial Assistance Award through the Hawkwood bursary fund. It is for individuals who do not have the means to attend certain events and courses at Hawkwood.
We aim to be inclusive and supportive; as the bursary fund is a limited resource, we ask for your cooperation with the application process. The requirement is for all applicants to read the terms and conditions in full and consider what they can afford for the course. The applications will pass for review by Principal & CEO Alicia Carey. Please visit this link for more information about the application.
