Dan Richards
Dan Richards is a writer and broadcaster who specialises in travel, memoir, and culture. Having previously taught at Bristol University, he currently teaches Creative Non-Fiction at The National Centre for Writing (in association with UEA), Arvon, and Moniack Mhor. The author of five books, including the Sunday Times bestselling Holloway, written in collaboration with Robert Macfarlane and Stanley Donwood; his newest, Overnight – an exploration and celebration of the night and the nocturnal activity which sustains, repairs, and protects the world whilst most of us are asleep – will be published by Canongate in March 2025.
